Services
Speech, Language and Feeding Therapy
Bridgewater, New Jersey
I see children from birth through adults. Services include both evaluations and therapy, in sessions of 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
Serving families across Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex Counties, with teletherapy available anywhere in New Jersey.
-

Language
When a child isn’t talking yet, is behind on words, or has trouble understanding and following what you say. This is the most common reason families come to me.
-

Articulation
When your child’s speech sounds are unclear. You may understand them perfectly while teachers, grandparents and other children don’t.
-

Oral Motor and Motor Speech Disorders
When the muscles and the motor planning behind speech aren’t working the way they should. This includes childhood apraxia of speech, where a child knows exactly what they want to say and it won’t come out. I’m PROMPT trained, which is a hands-on approach used specifically for this.
-

Feeding and Swallowing
Gagging, difficulty chewing, refusing whole categories of texture, trouble moving on from purees, or mealtimes that have turned into something you dread.
-

Stuttering (Ages 3-5)
When a child repeats sounds or syllables, gets stuck on words, or is beginning to avoid speaking. The preschool years are when this responds best to treatment.
-

Teletherapy
Live, interactive and HIPAA compliant. Available to families based anywhere in New Jersey. Please note that insurance may not cover teletherapy.
-

Kidnection
A weekly caregiver-and-me class for babies and toddlers, built on The KIDnection Method™.
-

Staff Development
In-service training for daycare and preschool teams, on what to watch for and how to support communication in the classroom.
-

New Parent Training Workshops
Practical sessions for parents of new babies on supporting early communication from the start.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call
1-877-696-6775.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
-
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
